Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden or Aisa’s Largest tulip garden is located in the heart of the Indian city of Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. It used to be a model floriculture center.

It’s the largest tulip garden in Asia, spread over an area of about 30.74 acres. Its location is at the base of the Zabarwan range and it was built on sloping ground with 7 terraces to give visitors an overview of Dal Lake when they look up.PAF Park pays tribute to Chaudhary Siraj-ud-Din, who generously gifted the land of his family’s ancestral garden for the development of a public park.

The opening in 2007 marked the launch of a major project by J&K Tourism in association with HP Pavilion for the production and marketing of Kashmiri handicrafts About 1.5 million tulip bulbs, all in a variety of colors, were brought to the Keukenhof tulip gardens in Amsterdam. The tulip garden is home to around 68 varieties of tulKeukenhof.

Tulip Gardens in Amsterdam usually welcomes about 150,000 guests per day from all around the world. In addition to their tulips, Keukenhof also has 46 varieties of flowers – including hyacinths, daffodils, and ranunculus – brought there from Holland.

  2. Secure a parking spot: Park your vehicle at least 2 to 3 km away from the garden and walk to the garden to avoid traffic. Nishat parking spot is closest and you enjoy a walk on the shore of dal lake

Entry Fee

The entry ticket for Tulip garden will cost you around 100 Rupees for adults and 50 Rupees for children. You can even book your ticket online from the website of the floriculture department.

Safety

During the open season tulip garden is the most secure garden in Srinagar. As more than 200 soldiers guard the place against every corner making it completely safe to visit.
